Joel opened Oska Hair in Park Gate in 2000 with the aim of offering the best hairdressing service the area had ever seen and went about building a team of the finest stylists to work alongside. Charlotte joined the salon in 2002, naturally gifted with long hair and styling and classically trained in precision cutting and creative colouring, Charlotte has been a full time loyal member of the team ever since. In 2013 Oska Hair started using La Biosthetique hair colour. Shortly after embracing the total concept of La Biosthetique, the company aligned with the salons principles on ethics, quality and sustainability.Scalp care and analysis was added to the salons services in 2018, because to have healthy hair, you need a healthy scalp. Ongoing training and staff development has always been at the centre of Oska Hair's ethos.

Joel started his hairdressing career when he left school in 1990. He always had a passion for style, fashion and design, which helped him to ignite his desire to make a career in hair cutting. He had an excellent eye for proportion and texture, too.

Joel started his hairdressing career when he left school in 1990. He always had a passion for style, fashion and design, which helped him to ignite his desire to make a career in hair cutting. He had an excellent eye for proportion and texture, too.
When Joel completed his initial training, which culminated in attending the Toni and Guy Academy in London, he worked as a stylist with the finest salon group of the time, before moving to London, where he continued to work for three years as a senior stylist at Paul Edmonds' salon in Knightsbridge, West End.
After a short stint of travelling, Joel returned to Paul Edmonds' salon and gained a lot of experience.
In 2000, Joel decided to come back to Hampshire, to open his own salon - Oska Hair.

Charlotte’s hairdressing career started in 1994. Having worked in a couple of salons and spent time travelling, Charlotte came to OSKA’S in 2002, where she has thrived working in a busy salon and enjoyed learning and expanding her knowledge on cutting, colouring, styling and recently scalp care.

Charlotte has trained extensively in colour, bridal and prom hair, she is focused on learning new techniques to develop her skills further.
